Who is eligible

Rhema House is for women navigating homelessness, reentry, recovery, or escape from abuse — who are ready to commit to a season of restoration.
18 years of age or older
Applicants must be legal adults to enter the program.
Willing to take a drug test and background check
Screening helps us maintain a safe environment for every family.
Clean for at least 1 year
A full year of sobriety shows readiness for long-term supportive housing.
Committed to completing all required program goals
Residents actively work through their personalized life plan and milestones.
Pregnant and/or have children
Rhema House is designed for mothers building a future for themselves and their children.
Have 50% custody of at least one child
Mothers must have meaningful custody and involvement in their child's life.
Need long-term supportive housing
Applicants are experiencing homelessness or living in inadequate housing.
GED, high school diploma, or willingness to get a GED
Educational growth is part of the journey toward self-sufficiency.
Available to work full-time or attend college within 2 months
Residents must be ready to pursue employment or education soon after moving in.
Motivated toward financial self-sufficiency
Through life planning with a mentor, accountability, enrichment classes, and positive choices.
Willing to build honest relationships
Residents engage openly with staff and other Rhema House families.
Emotionally and psychologically stable
A stable environment for children depends on a mother's overall well-being.
No sex offenses or violent crimes
Applicants will be denied housing if they are a convicted or registered sex offender or have committed a violent crime.
U.S. citizen
Residency in the program requires U.S. citizenship.
